Vivid Living’s New Retirement Village in Karaka

Vivid Living’s New Retirement Village in Karaka

We're excited to share that Stage 1 of Vivid Living's new retirement village in Karaka opened in February 2025, a project that Lifemark is proud to be part of. This beautiful waterside community offers modern 2- and 3-bedroom independent living homes, all of which are Lifemark-rated.

The Lifemark® certification is a testament to the thoughtful design and Universal Design principles that make these homes safe, usable, accessible and adaptable for everyone. Features like slip-resistant flooring, level door thresholds, and spacious rooms and hallways ensure a comfortable and enjoyable living environment for residents, regardless of age or ability.

Vivid Living Karaka is more than just a place to live – it's a community designed to support ageing in place. The central Residents' Lounge, with its cozy fireplace, reading space, and BBQ patio, provides a welcoming space for residents to connect and enjoy life together.

Nestled in a beautiful suburban estuary setting, Vivid Living Karaka offers stunning architecture and a high-quality environment. The village is part of a larger Fletcher Living neighbourhood, fostering a strong sense of community and connection and allowing multi-generational families to live close together.

The Lifemark® rating ensures residents can be confident that their home will allow them to live comfortably and maintain their independence for as long as possible.

“We love that Lifemark homes are easy to live in – for a lifetime. It fits perfectly with what is at the heart of what we’re doing, and that is to make sure our homes are usable for our diverse range of customers, today and into the future,” says Gemma Gloyne, General Manager of Vivid Living.

“We really value that having a Lifemark rating means that our residents can have peace of mind knowing their home will suit them for years to come.”

Following the success of the first Vivid Living village in Red Beach, we're thrilled at the positive impact of Lifemark's involvement in this project and look forward to seeing what Vivid Living will accomplish with future stages of the development.
